The title of the book is "Knime Beginner's Luck". It was born from my lessons on KNIME and KNIME Reporting and it gives a quite detailed overview of the main tools and philosphy of the KNIME data analysis platform. The goal is to empower new KNIME users with the necessary knowledge to start analysing, manipulating, and reporting even on complex data. No previous knowledge of KNIME is required.
The book is now going through one more round of corrections by the KNIME people themselves and by an English native speaker. After it gets the "Imprimatur", it will be ready to be published.
I am currently exploring a few publishing options. Going through a traditional publishing house might be slow, but it might guarantee a more prefessional product. Going for self-publishing sites, like createspace.com and lulu.com, might be faster and cheaper, but the final result might not look so good (they usually give no warrantee about the final result). Another possibility is to publish it on my own as an eBook and to print it on demand.
Is out there anybody with publishing experience who can help me?
